Description:
The HFD VS2C-3V(OM) is a direct-acting, 3-port sequence valve designed to control the sequential operation of two hydraulic cylinders. It is available in two port sizes — G3/8 and G1/2 — with maximum flow rates of 40 L/min and 70 L/min respectively, and a maximum operating pressure of 350 Bar.
The 3-port configuration connects the cylinder at port C, the supply and the head side of the second cylinder at port P, enabling precise sequencing in dual-actuator systems. Return flow passes freely, ensuring smooth and unrestricted retraction.
It is well-suited for hydraulic circuits where the secondary actuator operates under limited pressure, as pressures across actuators are additive in this configuration.
Operation: When the primary circuit reaches the pre-set pressure at port C, the VS2C-3V(OM) opens and delivers flow to the secondary circuit via port P. This guarantees the primary actuator completes its stroke before the secondary one is activated. The poppet-type sealing mechanism keeps internal leakage minimal, while the 3-port design simplifies plumbing in dual-cylinder sequential circuits.
