Description: The VMDL20 is a compact, direct-acting pressure relief valve designed to protect hydraulic circuits by limiting maximum pressure. It is suitable for fluid power systems with nominal flows up to ~20 litres per minute.
Operation: When the hydraulic circuit pressure rises to the valve’s set point, the valve opens to discharge excess flow, thereby preventing further pressure increase in the system. Once the pressure drops below the set point, the valve closes again. Because it is direct-acting, the spring and poppet (or similar element) respond directly to system pressure without external pilot pressure.
