Description:
The FPD LE 1/4 GS(FP) is a double acting pilot operated check valve designed for line mounting. It allows free flow in one direction and blocks reverse flow unless a pilot signal is applied. With both C1 and C2 ports piloted, it securely locks a double-acting cylinder in any position, preventing unintended movement under load. The 1:4 pilot ratio ensures reliable opening even at lower pilot pressures relative to load pressure.
Operation: The valve contains two pilot-operated check valves integrated into a single body. Hydraulic oil flows freely from the directional control valve to the actuator, while reverse flow is blocked to hold the load in position. When pressure is applied to the opposite pilot port, the corresponding check valve opens, allowing controlled return flow from the cylinder. This design prevents unintended actuator movement and maintains load stability even in the event of hose failure or pressure loss.
