Operation: A poppet check valve works through a simple yet effective mechanism. It consists of a poppet, which rests against a seat within the valve body.
When fluid flows in the desired direction, the pressure keeps the poppet open, allowing fluid passage. However, if the flow tries to reverse, the fluid pressure against the seat forces the poppet. This seals off the passage and prevents backflow.
This one-way flow control mechanism ensures the fluid moves in the intended direction while stopping any unwanted reverse flow.
